"I write poetry on matchbooks; hoping to set fire with my words."
WELCOME TO
HER WORLD
Welcome to the house of horrors that is CeeCee's mind. She mostly writes short stories and poetry that disappoints her family by design, but she's recently been branching out into bigger and better things.
Constructive criticism, feedback, and shock and horror are all welcome so feel free to kick back and enjoy the show. Beta readers welcomed and encouraged, CeeCee can and will return the favor ♡
Her only rule is "don't try to steal my shit or *puts on best Liam Neeson accent* I WILL find you; and i will kill you."
Enjoy.
POEM OF THE WEEK
He used to call me Angel
I'm afraid we may have been the stuff of Legends.
Lies-
Brick by brick,
tried to build stairs to our Heaven...
War in the clouds, used our own words as weapons.
Turning our lives into a rapture was never the intention.
He did it. Climbed up those stairs to hold me tight.
Hands shaking-
Ripped off my wings, afraid to be smite.
I gave my soul...
Just wasn't enough for my poor Lucifer's appetite,
so he fell back to Earth, replacing his shrine with mere moonlight.
Now he can feel it,
our minds built from the same star.
but I begged him...
Got down on my knees and made him my saviour.
Our best work in the sky, made a puzzle piece repertoire.
But if we put the whole story together; it'd read more like a Grimoire.
